How to be wanted

"It is your time to suffer for the entertainment of others, child.", the tall being on the right states, its long, silk gown flowing in the wind. The smaller figure next to it looks up.
"Must I?", they ask, tone unsure and wavering, hands gripping at their arms.
"You will either way.", it declares in response, looking ahead instead of gracing the other with its attention, "You brought this on yourself after all."
They turn to look in the same direction the being is and in a quiet whisper, more to themself than anyone else, they reply.
"I just wanted to write..."

The characters are in no way, shape or form the content creators that played them, nor are they the canon characters.
Some might be weirdly out of character while others are not.
Basically, I took them from the second-hand store and formed and re-painted them to my liking.
Also the start is going to be painstakingly slow, probably.
