"Hey, Two Time. Saw you walk out of the cabin and wanted to see if you were ok. You looked...upset."

Two Time mustered up a smile. The Church had always subtly pressured its members to appear happy at all times, regardless of their circumstances. "Thank you for your kindness, but I'm feeling ok. You can go back to the others. Don't worry about me."

Chance hesitated for a second before coming closer, pulling up their pant legs before sitting next to Two Time, flinching a bit at the coolness of the water. "Don't lie to me. You've barely been able to keep up that smile all day. What's bothering ya?"
