She falls asleep in one life and wakes in another-same city, same walls, but everything younger.

Restored.

Untouched by what she knows is coming.

The air feels different.

So does she.

There's no grand explanation.

No flashing sign telling her what to change or how to change it.

Only a quiet understanding that she is early.

Early enough for things to still be soft.

Early enough for choices to matter.

She wasn't sent back for spectacle or fantasy.
