Fern wasn't always his name. He had loving parents and amazing friends. His life was practically perfect. Normal? Maybe. Boring? Probably. But it was more than enough. He was happy. He didn't want anything to happen.
If only.
Storms... Sharpedoes... and maybe a touch of bad luck? They make a deadly combination. It flipped his life more than -- way more than -- upside down. Nothing would ever be the same again. It wouldn't be an understatement to say that a part of him died on that day.
Some mons wouldn't see him grow up, and he'd never see a Pokemon he knew -- or cared for -- again.
However... seven -- seven long, pain-filled, grueling years later -- everything changed... again. For better... or for worse? Well, he'd find out eventually. Only Arceus would know if he'd appreciate it more than countless, sleepless nights alone in a place that he didn't know, surrounded by things -- and threats -- that he'd never had to even think of before. The paranoia, the solitude, the emotions... and trauma? It left a mark, to say the least.

Echo Cereus, an Umbreon with a case of selective mutism, is shipped off to the Kalos Kingdom with his estranged brother, Tanuki Cereus, a Flareon with a chronic case of clumsiness. Objective? Study the artifact known as the Evolutionite under the tutelage of the kingdom's rulers. For the socially adverse Echo, the situation looked bleak. Things only go from bleak to dire as he is sent to a small town and has to interact with Pokémon he isn't too fond of. However, things are never what they seem. There is more to Kalos than what meets the eye. Beneath the pristine surface of the region and the kingdom lie various concerns bubbling to the surface. Discrimination, harmful stereotypes, and dangerous Pokémon become quite noticeable over time. In an unfamiliar place, the estranged brothers can only rely on each other and face the turmoil that's been eating at their relationship since their childhood. *I don't own the Pokémon franchise, nor am I the owner of the art used for this cover. Ash And Horizons
Ash Ketchum has finished the world championship, but that also means he's closer to be a pokemon master. He already continue his adventure after his depart with Goh and Chloe, but he also already finished his other adventure. Ash don't know what to do after beating the championship, but it looks like Delia able to step ahead and give Ash something to do: a School life. The story will be having Ash in Pokemon Horizon, but i'll try to make Ash character better in this story Also Ash and Liko are 10 years old cuz some people in discord sat i should add it in description.
