Aaliyah is a young woman who is 22 in college. She began studying the paranormal freshman year and loved enjoying exploring such dark places. Her boyfriend, Nathan, is abusive towards her, which she hates that so much. Meanwhile, she has to get paranormal evidence for a project in her class, taking her boyfriend, and a few friends. Alexis is very supportive of Aaliyah, helping her every step of the way. Stella is supportive as well, but she likes to secretly hook up with Nathan behind Aaliyah's back. They were all going to camp in these woods that were supposed to be haunted by a wendigo. Atticus is the wendigo, who watches Aaliyah from afar, noticing her boyfriend's cheating habits, and now targets Aaliyah not to eat her or steal her soul, but to love her and protect her. In the morning, he changes his form to a human resemblance, leading them through the woods, meanwhile at night, he'll be hating the boyfriend all along. As time passes, Aaliyah finds the wendigo in his human state, throwing sticks deeper into the woods. She began to suddenly fall for the demon, and the tension fills with her love life with her abusive boyfriend and this demon.
