Death has a schedule.
The Underworld has rules.
And Aletheia has color-coded files.

So when the Grim Reaper shows up late, again, carrying a husky puppy, everything goes straight to the seven hells.

Now Aletheia is dragged into the mortal world with a dangerously attractive embodiment of Death, an abandoned puppy, and absolutely no plan (which is unacceptable, honestly). Between chaotic markets, human emotions Reaper was never supposed to have, and a puppy who may or may not be fate itself, Aletheia is about to learn that some things can't be filed, sorted, or controlled.

Especially Death.
And definitely not love.
