Clove has been training all her life for the Hunger Games, and now she is finally a volunteer. She needs to win. But unfortunately for her, her biggest competition in the arena will be her ex-boyfriend, Cato Hadley. The stakes are high; it's life or death. What is she willing to do to survive? Who is she willing to betray? But most importantly, how can she kill the boy who had broken her heart, but still loves?
The sequel to my previous fic, "Before We Were Gladiators". I recommend reading it first, but this story will still make sense if you don't read it first. The first story is the background of Cato and Clove's relationship and their lives back in District Two. This story starts the day of the reaping of the 74th Hunger Games.
