Fourfold Flame (1st Draft)

**This book is in no way the final edit. This is a test for myself as a writer to decide if this is something I want to polish. This will be a rough draft, and many things may not make it into the final book.**

Four ancient kingdoms once stood as one, united under the rule of the four dragons. With the disappearance of each dragon, they now burn.

The Western Kingdom shelters the lost while the Eastern Kingdom tightens its iron grip on the world, led by a tyrant determined to claim every crown as their own. As war spreads and hope thins, rumors claim to know the true source of the East's strength: the last living dragon.

Steffan, who had already lost his family to the war, never sought to be a hero. He lives by his skill with a bow and arrow, never staying in one place. But when he joins a secret expedition beyond the borders of war, he awakens a gift that may be tied to the vanished dragons. Among unlikely allies is a girl from the east, far kinder than the barbarians he was raised to fear.

As loyalties blur and truths unravel, Steffan discovers the dragon may not be the weapon the world believes it to be - and the prophecy of the Fourfold Flame may not be lost yet.

If the last dragon falls, all kingdoms will fall with it.
If it rises again, no kingdom will be the same.
