"Excuse me miss librarian? But have you got a copy of this book right here?" The girl in the green sweater asks reluctantly as she hands over the piece of paper. The old lady looked at the writing and proceeded to type it on her computer.

"Ah, you just missed it. Someone just borrowed that earlier today. Sorry, sweetie." The librarian replied, and went back to her business. The girl just bit her lip. "Is there any chance you could give me the person's address..?" The woman behind the desk gave the teenager an appalled look. "I'm sorry, but what? No! Why would I give someone's address to a random stranger? Now go away, you're creeping me out!" Just as the librarian uttered those words, a group of college kids decided to have some fun.

"HEY! Put those down! Books are for reading, not dodge ball!" Sweater girl eyed the librarian as she went for the delinquents who were creating chaos near the bookshelf on the farthest left of the room.

"Oh god, I hope I don't go to jail for this." The girl in the sweater says as she jumps over the librarian's desk.

"No." My older brother Archer grabbed me by the wrist and practically dragged me to the door leading to the basement. "I'm not going down there!" "This has worked before." "You've left a girl and a guy in Dad's basement before?!" Archer only smirked and said, "Trust me on this." The problem here was that I did NOT trust him. Archer opened the door, letting it fly open away from him. "Enjoy, lil' sis." He gave me a small shove and I fell down the row of stairs, stopping at the bottom. The basement door shut and locked behind me. "Are you okay? What are you doing down here?" Calum's voice said. ..a short story where a girl gets stuck in her dad's basement with her crush from school, Calum Hood.
