Enigmatic Love

They say every door has its own key to open, except for one. A key said to open them all, the secrets of the past.

A letter with a key arrived after Mary's husband died. There were no details about the sender, and the message inside it bothers Mary a lot.
It says: 'Every door has its own key to open, except for one: my door.
I will wait for you until forever, Mary.'

She thought it was just a prank, a scammer trying to scam a widow.
Mary thought that was the end of it, especially now that there's this weird guy who keeps appearing in her sight, whom she could not ignore.
But that did not end there, a second letter came with an address.
In curiosity, Mary wrote back, asking him what he meant by the first letter.

He replied: You, my soulmate, Mary, is the key to the secrets of my past.

Mary gets confused and writes back until one day it stops. But the weird guy did not. Only to find out it was too late to go back, as Mary is now trapped.
