After years of isolation and home schooling because of her delicate condition, Rose Cleary is allowed to venture in to the world. A new experimental medicine has given her a new chance at life instead of another 17 years of being holed up in her house. Her immune disorder can no longer stop her from attending a normal high school, making normal friends, and possibly even getting her first boyfriend.

Rose just wants to be normal, but when her medication begins to fail, she is desperate to try and hide her illness from the world, just so she can live in it a little longer.
