THE EAGLE'S APPEAL

​"A bullet only kills the body, but the law uproots the very essence of evil." This was the philosophy instilled by Lt. Col. Gabriel San Jose and Major Liberty Calinao in their eldest son, Makisig Calinao-San Jose. Though an adoptee, the discipline of a true "Eagle" flows through his veins. Makisig is an active Major in the Philippine Army-a tactical genius with a heart of steel. But now, he enters a far more dangerous battlefield: the College of Law.

​Inside Law School, Makisig meets his mortal rival-Atty. Althea "Thea" Vergel de Dios. A legal prodigy and fierce human rights advocate, Thea believes the military is the cancer of society. ​However, in the heat of a perilous encounter outside the city, Makisig saves Thea's life from a planned ambush. On that night, amidst the rain and gunfire, Thea witnesses the true sacrifice of a soldier, while Makisig begins to understand the weight of a lawyer's conviction.

​From the heated shouting matches in the law school hallways, they begin to work together. Their mutual hatred transforms into respect. The "Eagle of the Field" and the "Lady of the Law" become secret allies, determined to dismantle the corruption festering within both the military and the legal system.
