Jaime Marquez, nonbinary heir to Agalas mafia royalty, is assigned by their mother to discover Gerardo Lozano's secret when he officially requests passage into her city. As Jaime begins to investigate, they stumble upon the core of his secret: he has a device that allows him to go back in time and redo the immediate past.

What Gerardo doesn't know is that Jaime's father was powerful in his own right, and Jaime has the ability to retain their consciousness through it all.

Their interactions become a game where Jaime tries to discover everything their mother wants to know about Gerardo, but they also end up facing the source of their own unhappiness as a result of the third being who is present--Sana the waitress, who is actually the owner of Gerardo's device and wants it back.
