Maj. Haider Ali Hamdani: An honest and courageous military man. A gruff yet affectionate father. In his eyes, he's the one to blame for his daughter's trials. Hala Ali Hamdani: A makeshift mother. Grew up too fast, too soon. Hafsa Ali Hamdani: Hope. Hashim Ali Hamdani: Achiever. Book enthusiast. Hasham Ali Hamdani: All that's left of what's been stolen. Rooh Afza addict. This book is a hefty collection of events occurring in the Hamdanis' lives. The story is set back in the 1980s, in old Pakistan. (For foreign readers, the narration/description is written in English while the dialogues are in Roman Urdu. However, English subtitles are provided.) Ps The story and the characters present in this book belong solely to me, except for the photos used now and then. I've most likely taken most of them from Pinterest unless I say otherwise. In a world lit by fame and broken by betrayal, can love ever find its way back? Anamika Sharma walked away from a glamorous life eleven years ago - leaving behind her unfaithful husband, Shivansh Malhotra, a celebrated film producer, and raising their children Kritarth and Shivangi on her own terms. Now, her son Kritarth, 26, hides behind a new surname as he struggles to make it in a ruthless industry that worships names and ignores talent. Meanwhile, Shivansh is haunted by regret, longing for the children he lost -, whose silence speaks louder than any confrontation. His second marriage to the once-famous actress Nupur is hollow, and their son Ritvik lives in luxury, starved of love and full of resentment. But fate has its own script. When Kritarth unknowingly lands a chance in a film connected to his father's world, old wounds resurface, secrets simmer, and long-buried emotions begin to rise. At the heart of it all is Shivangi - bold, bright, and hungry for stardom - torn between the quiet strength of her mother and the glittering illusion of her father's world. A story of love, legacy, and the cost of choices, this is a tale where every spotlight hides a shadow - and every silence has a story.
