Where I Fit

Avery Winchester thought making varsity as a freshman would be the hardest part of high school. Turns out, fitting in is a whole different game. Between the pressure of BHS softball, honors classes, and trying not to look completely lost in the hallways, she barely has time to breathe-much less figure out where she belongs.

Then there's Ryker King.

BHS's golden boy. Baseball's star hitter. The guy everyone knows, everyone watches, and everyone seems to want something from. He shouldn't even notice Avery... but he does. In quiet moments. In stolen glances. In ways that make her heart race and her world tilt.

But Ryker's world is loud, public, and full of expectations. Avery's is new, fragile, and already overwhelming. And whatever is happening between them? It can't be public-not when teammates, captains, and half the school are watching.

As the season heats up and the pressure builds, Avery has to decide what she's willing to risk: her spot on the team, her place at BHS, or the boy who makes her feel like she finally fits somewhere.
