Veronica has already lost so much that she is used to the blows. Her mother died with prolonged illness when she was a child. An absent rich-father and the horrors of raising her own self amongst many nemesis of her own has caused her to be closed off and alert to the foreboding dangers.

And that is when Aaron Flynn comes as a personal gift from Satan to break what was already fragile. She finds herself drawn to him, but hates his cockiness and arrogance while she rejects him continuously, he does something that leaves Veronica astounded. She is bound to him legally. She has no other option but to go his way. Wondering if his harshness with her has any end. Aaron is a paradox for her, he is always alert, never lets her find out what he is hiding. She continues living with him like a soulless body until She finally gets to know the truth. She learns of the truth right when she can finally smile.

Perhaps Veronica's fear of ending up regretting the decision's she makes and her bottled emotions are responsible for all that she faces and how she is broken beyond repair this time by her very own father and Aaron Flynn. When she gets to know the game Aaron and her father played with her, will she forgive them or will she lash out?
