Jake told himself he got over her. He built a life without her. He created a routine to get his mind off of her. He convinced himself he was happy. But at the end of the day, he kept going back to her.

Aimi swore she had left him in the past. She built her fame piece by piece. She attended award shows, signed brand deals, walked red carpets. She smiled at cameras, in movies, through photoshoots. Yet no matter how hard she tried to forget, she couldn't stop going back to him.
