Humans, vampires, werewolves and zombies share the same city-but not the same streets.

When Milton, a financially struggling human private investigator, is hired to find Mélange-the missing daughter of a powerful vampire elder-he expects a discreet domestic scandal.
Instead, four vampires are found dead near the borders of the Lycan and Zombie quarters. Accusations spread. Extremists mobilize. Human supremacists march. Riot police fill the streets.
Milton soon discovers that Mélange has not been kidnapped. She has run away-with a zombie. And she is pregnant.
Her pregnancy threatens ancient inheritance laws and destabilizes the delicate balance between species. What begins as a missing person case becomes the catalyst of a potential civil war.
Set in a segregated urban world where coexistence is policy and purity is weaponized, Mélange explores identity, hybridization, supremacism and the cost of crossing biological and social boundaries.
