It's The Falling In Love | Michael Jackson

It's 1943, a year where the marveling musical prodigy Magnolia Raymond has dedicated herself to ascent into a stardom she's always dreamed of. A southern belle who escaped her tumultuous childhood and headed North with nothing but a dream in her heart and a song on her lips. She soon rose from the ashes as a rising star in the jazz realm. So, as her talent shines as the resilient songstress Maggie Rose, she feels she's one step closer to her biggest dream-a life in the sweet streets of Paris like her beloved predecessors before her. No Jim Crow, no segregation, just freedom to be with her music.

But, when she and her jazz band are stuck in an unlucky deal with a failing Chicago nightclub, Magnolia feels as if the years of her turbulent childhood and gruesome hard work clawing to be the next big thing are all in vain. And it nearly drives her into hysterics. Unable to barely stay mentally afloat in the entangled deal, she finds that this club turns out to be her renaissance in her own right, especially after befriending a troubled twinkle-toed dancer who often is the big name on the Chicago marquee.

Michael has gotten comfortable with his life. He's always been a wonderboy, especially in the prestigious jazz tap troupe with his best bud Vaughn by his side. But lately, the desire for more has distracted Michael, and his own struggle with loneliness and fear may be holding him back from the true calling that's always been revered in his life. And it takes the ear of a tenacious songbird to pull that courage out of him.
