A remastered version of The Promised Land, a short story I wrote a few years ago.
There is, ultimately, no lesson or theme to this story. I myself haven't figured out the ultimate interpretation. And maybe that's okay. Maybe every story doesn't need to have a final lesson or a theme. Just enjoy being along for the ride.
