They said shared pain brings people together. Research revealed that pain is a particular ingredient in producing bonding and cooperation between those who shares the same pain. But, what if you fall in love to someone who shares the same pain as you? How can you let love slip through every crack of your heart when it's too broken? How can you hold someone when you're also aching and shaking? How can you shed light when you're also surrounded by darkness? How do you recognize love when all you've ever known is pain? And... How can you learn to live when you let them touch your wounds just for them to know exactly where to stab? How can you ever survive again when you let them meet your pain just for them to put you through it all over again? Now... How can you circle back when everything's alreay dead and over? How can you just shove down your throat all the words you could have said? --- This is a shared trauma connection between Eliel and Jayla, both nursing students who also found love to one another.

Evren Sayeiner "Sayen" Diestro, is a proud, sunlit volleyball captain who likes men, no questions asked. He has always been certain of who he is, until a stray serve of his hits Lunie Ariones, a quiet, average student who wants nothing more than her books. What should've been a simple apology turns into an unexpected, a warmth that unsettles Sayen in ways he never imagine. He begins to wonder... what if his heart has room for something he never planned?
