When billionaire CEO Adrian Keller agrees to a marriage of convenience, it's strictly business. A merger depends on it. His family's empire depends on it. Love? Completely irrelevant. The bride is Elena Marquez - beautiful, guarded, and far stronger than he expected. She knows she's not marrying for romance. She's marrying to save her family from ruin. She tells herself she can survive a loveless marriage... even if her husband barely looks at her. On their wedding night, Adrian makes it clear: "This is a contract. Nothing more." But everything changes when Victoria Laurent returns. Victoria - Adrian's ex-fiancée. Elegant. Wealthy. Ruthless. The woman who once broke his heart and now wants him back - not for love, but for power. She never expected him to actually replace her. And she certainly never expected Elena. Victoria is determined to prove the marriage is fake. She whispers lies into boardroom meetings. Leaks private photos. Engineers "accidental" encounters designed to humiliate Elena. And worst of all... she knows Adrian's secrets - the ones that could destroy his empire and his fragile new marriage. As jealousy ignites and trust begins to fracture, Elena must face the painful truth: she's falling for a man who never intended to love her - and might still belong to someone else. But when Adrian is forced to choose between the woman who shattered him... and the wife who quietly healed him, he realizes something terrifying: The wife he never wanted may be the only woman he can't afford to lose. And Victoria will stop at nothing to make sure Elena walks away first.

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
