Angelica has always hated wildlife. From leaves to insects, birds, everything seems to disgust her. However, 7 years after a jarring news report shakes the world awake, Angie finds herself washed ashore in the one place she isn't supposed to be.

The Galapagos Islands.

Years earlier, all inhabitants evacuated after a government relocation program started regarding the almost extinct species. To keep the islands thriving, the government shut them down, leaving the islands completely bare and overrun by nature.

After one forced fishing trip and a capsized boat later, Angie has no choice but to survive on the islands for as long as possible.

If that is even possible...

Eventually, she will come across some help. Whether or not she likes it, a boy will find her. And not just a boy, but a whole civilization.
