This story takes place in an alternate world ruled by the supernatural, who dubbed themselves Eldritch. The king of the entire world is Vlad Dracula. Though humans and Eldritch live in "peace," things aren't always rosy. There are still human hunters who live in the shadows. Then there are the special few, like Helsing, who border both human and supernatural worlds. Helsing wants her to help him end the reign of "monsters" while his Queen, Mina, and other Eldritch want her to help keep the peace between humans and supernatural. So Candy is brought to Arefu, Romania, closer to the vampire king's watchful eye.
