Aubree "Bree" Miller has spent four years at Hogwarts perfecting the art of going unnoticed. And she intends to keep it that way.

After years of being the quiet Hufflepuff students either overlooked or found easy to pick on, Bree is perfectly content with her books, her paintings, and the magical creatures that seem to understand her better than most people do.

After spending the summer recovering from an "accident" she still can't remember, Bree returns for her fifth year wanting nothing more than to disappear into the background like she always has.

And while Bree finds herself caught between four Slytherins who are slowly becoming something more, questions about the "accident" begin resurfacing alongside magic she doesn't understand.
