Jay was born quirkless in the world dominated by people with quirks, but he still wanted to became an hero and then he discovered the hidden strength in the human body. Hysterical strength. He somehow uses Hysterical strength willingly and becomes the strongest student in class 1-A.

The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across.
