We all know the legend of Link and Zelda saving Hyrule from the Calamity-but legends are built on buried truths. What if Hyrule's greatest hero was forged from something far darker?
On his seventh birthday, Link's childhood ends in blood. He watches his mother die right in front of his own eyes, unable to save her. His father is gravely wounded and powerless to protect his family. And his little sister is taken by the merciless Yiga Clan. The village is destroyed, and everyone moves on. Link does not.
Grief turns into guilt. Guilt hardens into anger and hatred. As he trains to become a knight, honor no longer drives him-obsession does. He will find his sister. He will make the Yiga pay. No matter the cost.
Even if that cost is himself.
In a reckless act of desperation, Link joins the Yiga Clan to uncover the truth about his sister's fate. But the deeper he descends into their shadows, the more he must lie, betray, and reshape himself into someone unrecognizable.
With every step closer to his sister, he drifts further from the boy he once was. Now Link must choose between the vengeance he's craved for years... and the last fragile pieces of his own soul.
**THIS STORY IS RATED MATURE FOR HEAVY VIOLENCE AND BLOOD**
There is depression, death, violence, and blood! If you are sensitive to these topics, this book is not for you! These are the only mature topics in this book. The story can get a little dark at times, but it's all for the plot.
This is my first wattpad story... so it might suck, but I hope you enjoy it anyway!!
