Tom finds himself alone in the now apocalyptic new world that suddenly transformed their area with the chaos that followed. His feet move quickly along the cracking messy streets followed by a massive horde of zombies, however someone's watching from the distance. Ensuring their later encounter will be between an alive Tom and this undead counterpart.
So this story was intended to be a one shot until I wasn't anywhere near finished 4500 words in so, hopefully it's enjoyable enough :D

This adaptation follows the same general premise and conflicts of the original novel, but it is written purely from my imagination. The characters keep the names Lena and Miu instead of the original names from the novel. Since I haven't been able to find a full English adaptation or translation of the novel, this story is based only on the summary and a few excerpts I have come across. Because of that, some details may differ from the original novel or the future series. This is simply a fan project created while we all wait for Lena and Miu's next series.
