Cora Kinsey had spent most of her life between two places. Forks, where she went to school, and La Push, where she truly belonged. Growing up beside Jacob Black and Bella Swan meant the three of them shared almost everything, from childhood bonfires on the beach to the quiet understanding that came with living in a town where nothing ever seemed to change.

But things were already beginning to shift long before any of them realized it.

The old stories of La Push were never meant to be taken seriously. Just legends passed down through generations, told around fires and forgotten by morning. At least, that's what Cora always believed.
