She laughed at something another man said.

That was enough.

Vihaan's jaw tightened from across the room. The glass in his hand stilled. He didn't interrupt immediately - he watched... calculated... claimed.

When the man leaned a little too close, Vihaan moved.

"Sia," he said quietly, but it wasn't a call - it was a command.

She turned, meeting his dark gaze, already knowing.

"You seemed busy," she teased, deliberately not moving away from the other man.

His smile didn't reach his eyes. "I was. Watching someone forget who she belongs to."

Her pulse quickened. "I don't belong to anyone."

He stepped closer, enough to make the air between them burn.

"Keep telling yourself that," he murmured near her ear, voice low with restrained jealousy. "But you still looked for me the moment he touched your arm."

Her breath faltered.

"And I," he continued, pulling back just slightly, "don't like sharing."

"Jealous?" she whispered.

"Territorial," he corrected, eyes locked on hers. "There's a difference."
