At eighteen, Izi Alcantara had a life that felt almost too full to lose-college afternoons, familiar laughter, plans whispered into the future as if tomorrow had already promised to come. Then, one by one, everything began to disappear. People. Places. Dreams.

Until the life she once called hers became nothing more than something she remembered having. With nowhere left to return to, Izi trades classrooms for fluorescent lights and steps into a Makati call center, carrying a life she no longer knows how to hold.

And somewhere in the sleepless hours, between ringing phones and the silence that follows them, there is Aris Zobel-the young Team Manager who notices too much and says too little. Izi only meant to survive long enough to find her way back to herself. She never meant to find someone in the middle of the wreckage. Because while her life was on hold, apparently, her heart wasn't.
