Cada's life is not what you'd expect.
Her mom has married the fourth husband ever since her father died. She moves across the country to live with Reed, the new man in her moms life.
Reed is a director for one of the worlds largest movie companies in America, so they start to think that life will be a piece of cake.
Until there's Documented murders that have happened in L.A. for a while, and Cada soon finds out that the murders link to Reed, her new stepdad. And Cada and her stepdad soon end up somewhere where nobody wants to be.
In the beginning Cada thinks she has this whole thing sort of figured out, but by the end of the book, you'll have your eyes wide open with what Cada discovers, or sees.
