Claire Carrow, the sweetheart Slytherin, has it all. Claire and her charming older brother, Thomas, belong to one of the nicest families apart of Slytherin. With her loyal circle of girlfriends, Cho, Lacey, and Hermione, they carry through the drama of sixth year. Cedric Diggory, the charismatic Hufflepuff, has been with Claire since last spring. But when Diggory's "Mr. Nice Guy" mask finally slips, Claire discovers a betrayal she never saw coming. Lucky for her, her group of girls like to have fun. "Mission Chosen" was created to keep her busy from the pain, but also get playful revenge at Cedric. All she has to do is score the attention of the chosen boy and show up at the Yule Ball with him. Can Claire actually pull this off? Or will she end up losing more than she planned?
