Long ago Lumina, the original deity of chaos, magic and change, was brought into existence along with the first generation of creator deities. Lumina was to ensure nothing got too out of hand but also to ensure nothing became stagnant. Lumina did as intended to such a degree that a millennia later, several upon several divine beings banded together out of fear as well as jealousy and dealt her what they believed was a fatal blow...but she swore she'd be back.
