A late shift in a logistics surveillance room reveals a frame that should not exist. One second of corrupted footage exposes a hidden annex, illegal containment units, and a trafficking operation buried inside a legitimate shipping network.
Sirius John is a temporary worker assigned to fill gaps wherever the facility needs her. Conveyor lines, cargo verification, surveillance shifts. Routine work. Nothing complicated.
During a quiet night shift on the camera grid, a single frame interrupts the feed. What appears for less than a second is enough to expose something the system has carefully concealed.
A restricted room. Containment units that should not exist. Creatures that should never have been captured.
What Sirius removes from the facility that night is more than evidence. It is a living creature someone has been trying to break into obedience.
False Feed is a short entry point into the Lattice Ascension world. The events occur during the early timeline of the upcoming novel Lattice Ascension: Stormbreaker.
