Marrying the Cruel Marquess
When her father's debt threatens to destroy everything her family has left, Amelia Winfield finds herself with only one choice. Determined to save her parents, her sisters, and the home they stand to lose, she goes to the man now holding their future in his hands-Lord Gabriel Sinclair, the infamous Marquess of Thornefield. A man feared throughout England for being the cruelest man in position. A man known for granting neither second chances nor mercy. Yet when Amelia pleads for compassion, Gabriel offers something else entirely.
Marriage.
Amelia cannot live with the knowledge that her family might suffer when she could have done something to prevent it. Even if the price is her own happiness, even if it means becoming the wife of the man society calls the Devil Marquess, she will pay it. What awaits her inside Thornefield House, she cannot know. She can only hope that the mercy denied to her as a stranger might someday be granted to her as his wife.

Author's Note:
This fifteen-chapter novel was written with love for readers who enjoy shorter stories filled with slow-burn romance. I hope you felt the same anticipation, heartache, and tenderness that I experienced while writing Amelia and Gabriel's journey. While I occasionally write Regency romances with more explicit content, this story was written differently, and perhaps one day I will dedicate a separate novel to that style. Thank you for reading.
With love,
Mae Casa
