After the tragedy of Iriminsul's burning and an avoidable misunderstanding Lumine and Xiao are left at odds with their only son, Bakari. So in an effort to make amends the Fourth Descender's family gives chase all the way to Snezhnaya. In an effort to try and make amends and understand, Lumine tries to get to know Tsarista Anastasya and her nation in person. Alas, here amongst the ice and frost, not everyone is welcoming to Lumine as civil unrest broods due to Project Stuzha. Lumine with Xiao now must face the side of the coin she had for longest time seen in a bad light and consequences of her actions are brought to question before Xiao's eyes. As Snezhnaya faces unrest, Ragnorak's drums toll as the Twilight of the Gods begins to snarl at last. None shall escape the flames under the ice and cruel moon's vengeful gaze as Teyvet's dying screams wail for salvation. Will Lumine and Xiao be able to weather the storm as this world inches towardsits end?
