The story tells of a small town called Mystic Falls. A place that radiates peace and beauty and is surrounded by wonderful people.
But the truth lies just around the corner. Behind all that beauty hides a cold and dark truth-one of the supernatural.
Things that happened hundreds of years ago, and some that happened just yesterday. And all of this will affect everyone in the town. Especially the teenagers, who are closer to the truth than they even realize.
