June has always been good at keeping quiet.
Silence is easier than speaking of what happened when she was five, or ten, or who she is at fifteen. Easier than speaking of her father, her brother, or the scar that never healed quite right.
There's her mother, who carries it all alongside her, who struggles to keep moving forward and to fix the things she's broken.

JUNE is a tender, slow burn character driven novel about the things we carry with us; from family, to trauma, to guilt, grief, and love that shows in messy ways.
