Two broken people. One toxic connection. Sebastian isn't a good person. At least that's what people in Kingswell like to think. They don't see the drunk mother, the sick father, or the brother he practically raises himself. They don't see the night that changed everything. So he fills the emptiness the only way he knows how: sex, drugs, alcohol. Anything that makes him feel something instead of nothing. Isabella looks like she has the perfect life. Perfect grades. Perfect body. Perfect reputation. But behind closed doors, she's only ever known words that tear her down. At school, she makes sure she's the one saying them first. When they meet, neither of them expects the other to understand. But broken recognises broken. What starts as an unlikely friendship quickly becomes something far more complicated. Because, sometimes the person who understands your darkness the most is also the one who can pull you deeper into it.
