At Ruby High, every space is divided by class: from classrooms to cafeterias, malls to hotels, even transportation and banks, society's hierarchy is impossible to ignore. The Nobles and Upper Class rule with wealth and privilege, the Middle Class maintains stability, and the Lower Class struggles to be seen, often humiliated for their status.

Into this rigid system steps Lisa Manoban, a Lower Class student on a full sports scholarship. She joins the Ruby High Lower Class Women's Football Team as a striker, her childhood best friend Seulgi Kang commanding the midfield. A rising star and prolific scorer, Lisa dazzles on the field, outperforming the Nobles' teams and challenging the hierarchy with every goal. Yet off the field, she navigates a world that refuses to respect her, where even the simplest spaces are battlegrounds of privilege and power.

At the center of this world is Jennie Kim, the icy Noble heiress and daughter of the Ruby Group chairwoman. Known as the Ice Princess, Jennie rules Ruby High with elegance and influence, flanked by her friends Jisoo, Rosé, Irene, Nayeon, and Chahee. Jennie is used to commanding everyone's attention-until Lisa enters her world, fearless and unapologetic, disrupting the order Jennie has always controlled.

Complicating matters, Jongin Kim and Taehyung Kim, star players of the Ruby High Noble Men's Football Team, both vie for Jennie's favor, turning the fields and hallways into arenas of rivalry, jealousy, and desire.

"Goal Above the Rest" is the story of a Lower Class girl who defies the odds, topples the rigid social order, and proves that talent, courage, and determination can change not just the game, but the rules of life itself.
