21 years old too smart to be in a third year lecture hall learning the bases of psychology.

Too precise with her answers,she understands past the bridge of definition.

She's learned application.

Human in a way that's concerning for her character.

She's irrelevant .

Until she isn't,until she gets too close to a fire I've never been one to control.

She was my brother's new little girlfriend, until she wasn't,until she wasn't even his anymore.

She stands close to the fire unafraid of it.She doesn't flinch

She's not scared she'll burn.

She's scared the warmth will turn into something worse ,ice

She's not afraid of the darkness,she thrives in it.

She's not afraid of my name,the power that it holds.

She's afraid I'll stop looking at her with my jaw locked in anger.

Because to her anything is better than nothing.

And burning is better than being cold.

Until she melts the ice I've worked so hard to keep frozen.

she huffed,
"That's not the shit You say when I tell you to Bend over my fucking table now is it ?"

I glare at her like it will change something.
