Fake hate

He used to be her best friend.
Her safe place.
The boy who knew every secret she had.

But one day... he became the person who hurt her the most.

Now he's the most feared boy in school.
Cold. Arrogant. Untouchable.

And for some reason... she is his favorite target.

Every day he humiliates her.
Every day he reminds her that whatever they once had is long gone.

But there's something strange.

Whenever someone else tries to hurt her... he's the first one to lose control.
Whenever she's in trouble... he's always there before anyone else.

If he really hates her...
why does he protect her like she's the most important person in his world?
