THE ZERO-G PARADOX is an epic superhero-noir story that subverts the classic "power fantasy" by placing the fate of the world in the hands of the one man who has absolutely no powers.
The Premise
In the soaring metropolis of Nova Port, the population is divided between the Apex-god-like beings who live in floating cities-and the Zeros-ordinary humans who live in the shadows below. Leo Vance is a "True Zero," the powerless son of the world's greatest heroes. He spends his days as a "Mender," a specialized technician who cleans and repairs the high-tech, unstable fabrics of superhero costumes.
The Conflict
The world changes forever when a mysterious villain known as The Null triggers a "Frequency Pulse." In an instant, the Apex Gene is silenced. The gods lose their flight, their strength, and their invulnerability. As the floating cities begin to drift and the "heroes" collapse into panic, the very technology they relied on becomes useless.
The Core Theme: "Ordinary is Extraordinary"
Because Leo was born without the gene, the pulse has no effect on him. While the superheroes are incapacitated by the sudden weight of their own humanity, Leo is the only person who knows how to survive, fight, and fix things without the help of a superpower.
