Hello. I'm Alexandria Brooks.

I'm a Time Lord... and this is my story.

Well-my story after the Time War.

My home planet, Gallifrey, was destroyed in a war so vile, so devastating, that only two of us survived.

Me... and the Doctor.

Now we travel together through time and space in a ship called the TARDIS. That stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. It's bigger on the inside, by the way.

Pretty brilliant, if you ask me.

Though not quite as brilliant as bow ties.

But then again... nothing really is.

Anyway-where was I?

Right.

The story.

It begins with a girl named Rose Tyler... and a department store basement full of living plastic.

And trust me-

that's where things start to get interesting.
