Awaken - Volume IV: Resolve

After the attack in Akihabara, the public is asking questions about Teruki Kosuka. When the government gets involved, and the press starts to apply pressure to officials, a brand new conspiracy arises. The boy is suddenly put on trial, and his life starts hanging in the balance as they debate his sentence, but the government seeme to be seeking the death penalty. With his execution looming above everybody, will Teruki's friends at the Department be able to save him, or will he be put to death for a crime that was never his fault?

Meanwhile, Zero trains his body relentlessly on the frigid slopes of Mount Fuji, trying to make himself stronger as he's tormented by the memories of his time working underneath Joushirou Iyaragi inside his old home.

Haunted by the screams, and the memories of those he once called his family inside J.O.I.'s Topaz Battalion, he refuses to stop for even a moment.

Fueled by revenge, and made cold by the sting of betrayal, he relives his own origin in his memories, vowing never to forget the reason for his hatred, or his steely resolve as he forges himself into an unstoppable weapon.

Meanwhile, Joushirou Iyaragi contemplates his next move, looming in the shadows while devising his next sinister plot.

Teruki, Zero, and Joushirou, three people all carrying a deep vendetta, will soon find that their individual paths are destined to cross!
