In order to get strong enough to face down his ultimate enemy, Teruki Kosuka is excited to participate in order to grow stronger through doing battle with other power users.
During a gruesome match between Raiden and Haruna he feels compelled to step in, and through disagreement he ends up matched up against Haruna during the quarterfinals.
On top of that Zero meets Teruki Kosuka for the first time and declares that he intends to kill him.
