Dead-man Walking

In the year 2052, the world Atlas Bianchi once knew is gone. When he awakens beneath the crumbled remains of a city, his memory fractured and his body covered in dust, he discovers an earth stripped of human life. Buildings stand empty and silent, overtaken by vines and wind. The air hums faintly with energy-something unnatural, something alive.
As Atlas struggles to piece together how he survived, his eyes are drawn to the sky. There, circling above the ghostly skyline, is a colossal bird that looks like a turkey vulture-but this creature pulses with an electrical aura, its wings crackling with blue light. In its wake, static fills the air, and Atlas begins to realize that the planet has changed in ways far beyond his imagination.
