They say the city is always protected...until a new hero shows up

The League is the local gang of superheroes devoted to protecting the city of Riverside and the neighboring counties. Each member has their own purpose for being there. Comprised of their fearless and strategic leader, Mr. Christian Sullivan, the co-founders of The League, Clifford and Sasha Oakwell, their daughter, Sage Oakwell, a man stronger than life itself, William Bailey, and The League's golden boy, Roman Dragonetti. 

Jayden Toro, the daughter of Christian's late best friend, is out for blood. She has worked too hard, pushed herself too far, and sacrificed too much to come in second to Roman for the rest of her life. Being the adopted daughter of the founder of The League should come with perks and privileges, but to Jay, it only comes with being a disappointment and an asset to The League, nothing more. Jay is fed up with her place in The League, and with the help of her ghost best friend, she learns to become her own hero. 

In Jay's journey to becoming a secret midnight vigilante, she works to prove herself, not only to The League, but to the city. She must keep her identity a mystery, as not to make her every motive and frustration obvious, She rivals Roman, actively trying to sabotage him and get him to surrender his place in The League, yet, he continues to attempt to win Jay's cold heart. One night will change everything for these heroes, both in their lives inside and outside of The League.
