Princess Mayla never expected to be crowned the queen of Catatopia so soon. But when her family mysteriously disappears, she's the only one around. It's difficult to rule a kingdom, especially with hostile dogs on the border who are ever so close to launching a war.

After a month of ruling, May meets a cat named Zahler, an old, exiled cat who claims to have a story to tell her. He leaves with the words, 'meet me at the Whisker Mountains. '

The next day, that's what she does, along with her friend Cassidy. But they never expected to learn the truth about raccoons...and team up with dogs.
